Bard update? [Archive] - Wizards Community

06-04-07, 10:11 PM Hey guys I was checking prestige classes for Bards and what would be good and I came across the Neverwinter Nights 2 setup for a bard.

I don't play NWN2 but are any of these bardic music spells like Inspire Regeneration or Haven Song actual bardic music effects that I can actually obtain? If so what book could I research this in or would it only be something that is part of NWN2 so that the bard could much more easily hold his own.

My DM allows anything as long as I can present it in a published book. No internet material is allowed so any books that might help, or something that might offer other helpful bardic music effects would be great. Right now I have the PHB and Songs and Silence. Any other good books?

06-04-07, 11:43 PM complete adventurer, scoundrel, arcane and mage should all have bonus songs you can pick up for a feat. I think races of stone might as well.

There are some interesting bard variants in complete champion, but they are give up one song in exchange for this song.

06-05-07, 06:39 PM The Eberron Campaign Setting also has some extra bardic music options available for the cost of a feat. Libris Mortis may as well.
