Bard variant idea [Archive] - Wizards Community

03-03-07, 12:21 AM What if, rather than Bardic Knowledge, there was a class feature that allowed the emulation of other class features in a limited fashion, similar to the Factotum? You'd have to spend a BM use and/or make a Charisma check or somesuch, and if you succeed, you can do a sneak attack, smite, turn undead, etc. as a character of the appropriate class no higher than your current level (possibly less depending on the results of the CHA check.)

Thoughts?

03-03-07, 04:59 AM Bards no need more combat power, bardic knowledge is meant to be a not combat feature and should be kept that way...

umm, the only way I could allow it would be if added non-combat class features of other classes.
