12-26-06, 10:10 PM The gleeman is non-magic bard variant from WoT d20. Grants the distract, gleeman's music, gleeman's lore, and virtuoso performance class abilities. It also grants Mimic, Persuasive, and Trustworthy as bonus feats.

In other words it's just what you're looking for Draxen.

I've really been leaning towards making the bard a PrC, and letting the player choose between the Unearthed Arcana(is that the right book? The sorcerer PrC?) PrC, or the Gleeman. Go for spells, or go for music.

Yes that. I should have been more clear.

It would be fairly simple to extend the gleeman into a base class. 20 minutes work tops.

In the DMG2, there was a manipulator build that featured a rogue/bard. My brother wants to make a similar character out of ninja/bard, but spells do not quite fit the character concept.
