Bardic Challenge [Archive] - Wizards Community

03-12-05, 11:42 PM OK guys, this is a challenge for all of you Role Players out there... I'm looking for the best "Bard Songs" you either written or come up with.

Here is one that just came up in my game.. Kudos to Berric the Gnome for the original composition.

Some despise bats and some people fear rats, and some hate the giants of yore,
Oh me oh my, but you and I, we hate the goblins more!
And little is worse than a red dragon's breath, or so some people may think,
But we gnomes add an amendment to this; "...except for a damn goblin's stink!'
And few would dare gaze 'pon the dread Basilisk, that most dangerous of creatures,
But let it be known that to this little gnome, far worse are a goblin's odd features!
And so though we may flee from a zombie or ghoul, or run from a great demon lord,
We'll link hand in hand, we'll make a great stand, and we'll slaughter the goblinoid horde!"

03-12-05, 11:50 PM You know, this reminds me of a rap battle for some reason, and now I have the image of quasi-medieval entertainers spittin' lines, makin' rhymes, and rollin' with good times...

Okay, I'll stop, you don't even need to ask. :nonono:
