Just need a breakdown on who is affected by bardic music and who isn't.

Thanks.

Little help?

For example, does it affect creatures with 1 intelligence? About about no intelligence?

It depents on the creature. No int makes me think of a construct of some kind, all of which are immune to mind affecting effects, of which bardic music is one.

As for low int.......
I don't know what would be on your side you where worried about, except a hourse or something. I would think a creature would have to understand what you where doing in the first place so animal instinct int (1 or 2) would brobly be counted out too.

3 and up your good though.

I'm inclined to agree, but is there a ruling on this somewhere that I don't know about?

The PHB has the rules for bardic music, as well as the song&silence

Anything that can be affected by mind-affecting magic, in general. Some of them, however, are more specific; Suggestion, specifically, requires you speak their language (and that they, obviously, are capable of speech).

But Inspire Courage? Any ally that can hear you, and can be affected by mind-affecting magic. Including any allied animals. Even summoned creatures, as long as they otherwise fit the bill. Intelligence isn't a factor save for Suggestion, and that only so that they can comprehend speech.

I thought the explanations of the Bardic music abilities were clear enough. Most are mind-affecting, so can't effect things that are immune such as constructs and oozes and undead (unless you take the requiem feat) and then they say if its language depanded or if you need to hear or see the bard.
