bards and casting [Archive] - Wizards Community

03-01-04, 08:03 PM We have a bard in the group that says he can cast spell by talking as the verbal part of the spell.
Says he can tell a story and have the spell woven into the story so no one hears him cast. Is this how it works?

03-01-04, 08:05 PM Nope. There's a feat you can take for it though in Song and Silence... as long as it's part of a performance.

In any case, this sort of thing would require a feat.
