Bards and multiclassing/PrC'ing [Archive] - Wizards Community

I am toying with the idea of creating a bard. What suggestions do you all have for multiclassing and more specifically for prestige classes for later on... and why? Just curious. Never ran a full on bard, thought it might be a fun challenge.

11-28-06, 11:56 PM I'd say check out the Sublime Chord from Complete Arcane, if you're going for sheer power. Definetly one of the most powerful bard PrC's out there.

If you're not into the crazy arcane power bit but would rather go for the song bit, look at the Virtuoso from Complete Adventurer. Takes the bardic music and puts it on steroroids. ^_^

I'm sure there are others, but it's midnight here...

11-29-06, 12:25 AM Sublime Chord and full BAB/casting Prestige Classes applied to Sublime Chord maintains the versatility of a Bard while giving you more powerful options. Doing any one thing terribly well requires a large investment of feats, though.
