03-06-06, 10:27 PM I was looking though the PHB, DMG and the epic level handbook for 3.0 (quick side question does anyone know if wisards of the coast is making a 3.5 version and if so when it comes out) so my question is does anyone know if when you hit epic lvl and you get your BAB to +21 do you get a 5th attack and so on when you hit +26 for a 6th attack, +31 for a seventh, etc.? So your BAB would be 21/16/11/6/1.

03-06-06, 10:34 PM I believe the SRD for the Epic level Handbook is in a 3.5 version. No, once you go past +20 BAB you dont gain any more attacks/round, also your BAB only goes up at 1/2 progression like a wizard so a 30th level strait fighter(yea right :rolleyes: ) for example would have a +25/+20/+15/+10 BAB

03-06-06, 11:25 PM To be more precise, after you hit 20th level, your BAB never again increases. Instead, you gain a cumulative +1 epic attack bonus at every other level. Since your BAB never increases past 20th level, you're stuck with whatever number of iterative attacks you got by then. This is why most CO builds emphasize on the importance of BAB+16 at level 20.

Lets see 11 + 6 +2 = 19 feats i'm pretty sure i'm off but i don't have my PHB to check the math.
God! 19 feats you would have to take magic feats at some point!

that would be about 27, actually...

30 HD=11 feats
20 non-epic fighter levels=11 feats
10 epic fighter levels=5 feats

By then, there's no arguing he's a useful combatant, considering the fact he now has more than 10 feats a standard character would never be able to get.
