Okay kids, I'm trying out a new class called a Battle Dancer from the Dragon Compendium. It's a hybrid between monk and fighter that makes charisma do what monk wisdom does. Any advice on what my role in the party should be?
I get that I'm front line combat, but I would like a bit more direction on good feats for the class would be. I'd prefer not to go to the character op. boards since I don't want an optimized character, just a decent one. So if you have any input I would appreciate it.

Is there any way to access this class online? If so, you could post a link and more people would have an idea of its capabilities.

battle dancer is an amazing class. Sadly, because virtually no one will know what your talking about, you wont get alot of help.

play it like you would a monk.

It's from the Dragon Compendium as noted in the first post.

A battle dancer will have many of the same problems as a monk. Except they get the full base attack bonus, so they can reliability hit high AC targets.

Not being a WOTC class if doesn't have allot of suport, so no feats are made specifilly for it, but a few monk feats can be applied.

Hit and run tactics should work well with the class as they have a high movement rate. Much like a monk you should focus on mages first and take them out quickly.

Tumble is important to most of your class features so max if out. Hide and move silently are good if you want to provide backup to stealthy classes like a rogue.

Beyound this I cannot help much as I have never played the class.
