This like the master of the unseed hand PrC in that it focuses on the use of one special ability at the cost of casting levels or other class progression. Its still rough, but I'm planning on playtesting it next go around.

Battle Jumper

There are many specialists in the realm of specific magic and war. Examples are the Master of the Unseen hand, the Arcane Trickster and Initiate of the Sevenfold veil. The battle teleporter or battle jumper is one that uses short dimensional jumps in combat to effect a significant advantage. Mages and adventurers in general may teleport dozens of times in their careers but battle ‘porters may do that many in a day. Some develop a reputation of being a little off and detractors allege that such frequent teleportation can have long term deleterious effects. Battle ‘Porters tend towards chaos over law but have no real alignment restrictions. Quite a few have some levels in rogue or scout as well as the class that gives them the teleport ability.
Hit Die: D6

Requirements:
Skills: Jump 8 ranks
Feats: Skill Focus (Jump)
Special: Must be able to use a teleport-like ability at least once a day including casting dimension door or teleport, having the abundant step or shadow walk abilities, etc.

Class Skills
The Battle Jumper’s Class skills (and the key ability for each) are: Concentration (Con), Jump (Str),
Skill Points at each level: 4 + Int Modifier

Class Features
All of the following are class features of the Battle Jumper class.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: The Battle Jumper does not gain any weapon or armor proficiencies from this class.

Battle Jump (Sp): Calculate the maximum distance a character can jump (usually ranks in jump + Str bonus + Skill Focus (jump) + 20) but not including the bonuses from magic items like ring of jumping. This is your Battle Jump distance. As a move action you can jump up to this total distance as a short instantaneous teleport. This ability is usable once per class level per encounter. It provokes attacks of opportunity for leaving a threatened square but not for any squares between origin and destination. While you can move through obstructions like a wall of force, you must have line of sight to your destination. Unlike Dimension door, you can still take a standard action after jumping. This does not qualify you for sneak attack unless you arrive in a location in which you are flanking or your opponent would already be flat-footed. It does qualify you for skirmish damage if you jump at least 10 feet. The total Jump distance will increase as your ability to jump does. As a special use of battle jump, you can hold a readied action to jump and evade any one ranged attack that you are aware of including spells or missiles.

Battle Jump Spring Attack (Sp): By expending two uses of the battle jump ability the jumper can jump in, make a single melee attack and jump back out again as a full round action. The target of the attack does not get an attack of opportunity for you leaving a threatened square but other opponents that threaten the square may. Each jump can be up to your total jump distance.

Sudden Battle Jump (Sp): You can now battle jump as a swift action. You can still only make one swift action in a round but you can combine this with other battle jumps in the same round. Sudden Battle Jump takes one of your daily uses of the battle jump ability.

Reflexive Battle Jump (Sp): Once per day you can use the battle jump ability as an immediate action. This occurs even when it is not on your turn and in response to someone else’s action, though you must be aware of a threat to use it effectively. For instance, if a rogue flanks you and is about to sneak attack you, you could jump away just before the blow hits. If the same rogue was hiding to perform the sneak attack, you could not jump to avoid the blow.

2 +1 +0 +3 +0 Battle Jump Spring Attack
3 +2 +1 +3 +1 -
4 +3 +1 +4 +1 Sudden Battle Jump

this is realtively cool...
though all it really says is "you can take 20 on jump checks. forever."
and "make move actions whenever you want"

hey not too bad of a job on this one.. ,however as a suggestion to prevent overpowering everyone, i would suggest changing the full round attack to either a single melee or a single touch attack to balance things out a bit.. but tha'ts just my two cents i really like this lol

I suggest adding "Skill Focus:Jump" as a prerequisite.

make sure you ONLY allow your jump distance to be determined by
Skill focus :jump + Racial modifiers + Ranks in Jump + Str + 20

Because any magic items that let you buff jumping will break this prestige class all too pieces.

Well, it is still limited to one use per class level. As far as the free move action, this is also a limited number of times per day. It is less powerful than hustle since that ability allows any kind of move action, while this is strictly movement.

Which ability are you referring to?

That is a good idea. Added in.

its that one use per day per class level...(in this prc)
or
one use per day per character class levels...(all classes)

if the first, then ok. i see.
you can only do any of this stuff FIVE TIMES per day, in any combination, total.
im not sure if thats worth 5 levels, but thats cool i guess.

if the second one, well your gonna be a little strong, since you can do this all day every day.

HOWEVER, id go for somethign in the middle...
like 2 uses per class level.

that gives you 10 uses.
thats not a ton...
its on par with how i end up as a lvl 6 bard with the feat extra music.

First off: How about per encounter rather than per day.

It seems somewhat limited at a maximum of 5 per day. I would also say that it should be able to be split into multiple uses. For example, jumping half of your maximum jump distance on one turn, then jumping the rest on the next turn, all as one jump usage. Or better, take uses per day out of the equation, and do it as:

Battle Jumper can jump up to x ft. per encounter, up to (ranks in jump + Str bonus + Skill Focus (jump) + 20), where x equals (ranks in jump + Str bonus + Skill Focus (jump) + 20) times class level.

Ok, I changed it to 1 use per level per encounter. It doesn't seem too powerful since that's all the class does. The total feet idea is interesting but probably difficult to keep track of. Thanks.
