Wizard is actually a really good choice for Battlesmith: Item Creation feats(become a magical blacksmith), and lots of skill points, which means lots of Craft skills to be good with. You may also consider Runesmith, too.

Cleric is great, too, as you'll have plenty of HP, great buffs, good saves, decent BAB, and you'll get your Wisdom bonus to damage rolls from Battlesmith.

Those are the two best classes you can choose from, without Artificer, which probably is the best class. But like you said, no Eberron, which does suck.

hmm First level of Mordian I get Aura of Courage Effect and can also throw a warhammer up to 20 ft...... niiiiiiiiceeeeee

what domains should i have?

Well, also in Races of Stone, there's a racial substitution level for Dwarven Clerics where they gain proficiency with the Warhammer. If you don't take that, War domain would be good. You're going to want the Warhammer proficiency.

If you don't take War, Protection is a good Domain, Law's not bad, either. You'll be an asset to the party between your protection buffs, healing spells, and your ability to make equipment.

You can't have a level in HoM, it requires +7 BAB which a level 5 clerio doesn't have.

Very true. But if you take the Battlesmith levels first, you'll be able to get that HoM level, since Battlesmith does have the full BAB. :D

I think Ill take War domain also

or mybe take a focused domain and choose only one of those two
