Battlemage? [Archive] - Wizards Community

11-18-03, 09:18 PM Why isn't there a battlemage class? I know there is Eldritch Knight but I want a REAL battlemage class. How 'bout you?

11-18-03, 09:21 PM I suppose because it isn't necesary. Its concept is covered already by multiclassing. That's the only answer I can imagine.

11-19-03, 12:57 AM Define Battlemage. Any caster focusing on combat spells seems to fit the bill, IMO. Multiclassing isn't even necessary.

Check out. The only *real* battlemage PrC. Very nice wide area damage spells. Like the 9th level spell which does more damage when it has killed somebody. Cast it into an approaching army and laugh:b:
