I have some question.
I have a druid (lvl4) and I may want to use the wild shape ability, but I don't know how it's work exactly.

The Questions:
1, I retain my own HD, but I have the benefit from the high Con score?
2, Speed, change or not, can I fly?
3, AC changing to the animal AC (I think), can I use the Feat Dodge, while I'm in animal form?
4, Attack uses my base attack bonus? Can I attack twice in a round like an ape (my BAB at 5th lvl +4)?
5, Can I use special attack(s)?
6, Can I use special qualities (I know it is not allowed, but a dog lost a nose? - Scent ability)?
7, Can I use the animal racial skill bonus?

10-18-05, 08:31 PM well, this is a bit of an odd thread to past that in... but whatever.

1) yes. you replace your con mod with the new form's for HP, saves, skill modifiers, and so forth.
2) speed changes with the form. including modes of movement. thus, if you turn into something with a fly, swim, climb, or burrow speed, you can fly, swim, climb, or burrow.
3) yes, you gain the creature's AC, and you may use any feats you normally possess, provided you have the requirements for it (for example, weapon focus: longsword is no good without a longsword. dodge can be used in any form, so it's ok).
4) yes. you use your own attack bonus, but do not gain iterative attacks from it (ie no +6/+1 from high base attack bonus). you gain the creature's attack pattern instead, using primary/secondary attacks as the creature.
5) so long as they are not based on a certain body part or something, yes (ie if you naturally have wings and can do a wing attack, and you wildshape into something without wings, you naturally can't make wing attacks)
6) not sure. for some reason, i think in 3.5 you cannot.
7) yes.
