Bear Warrior Prestige Question [Archive] - Wizards Community

05-28-06, 09:09 PM In reading the bear warrior prestige class description (Complete Warrior page 16), there seems to be a contradiction. It says the only limitation to the number of times per day he can assume bear form is the number of times per day he can enter into a rage or frenzy.

But under the bear form description, it says that at 1st level BW, he can enter into the form of a black bear 1 time per day. At 5th level, he can enter into bear form 2 times per day and can choose between black and brown bear forms.

So I guess the question is which is it? If I am a 7th level Barbarian with Extra Rage Feat, I can Rage 4 times a day. Can I turn into a black bear each time I rage or is it only 1 time per day?

05-28-06, 09:49 PM I'm pretty sure it's the former option, that you can do it as many times as you can frenzy. If you look at the table, you'll see that the desciption you listed in the latter coincides with the number of rage per day increases the class grants you.

05-28-06, 10:25 PM It's bound to the number of times you can rage as clearified in the errata (http://www.wizards.com/dnd/files/CompleteWarrior_Errata08022005.zip). The contradicting text was just a carryover from its original description in the OA.
