First: punctuation and grammar please. This was hard to decipher.

That depends. I find the class to be great. If you want to be able to turn into a freaken bear as a barbarian, there is no better way, save for possibly Primeval. But that's more of a different way than a better way.

If you need to know how polymorph works, read the spell. But this is closer to wildshape than polymorph. Also, you gain the stat boosts that they say, instead of gaining the stats of the bear. You gain the shape and size, and the (ex) special attacks and qualities of the form you take. Natural Armor is included in that. Also you gain the natural attacks of the form you take. Because you can't wield a weapon in bear form, I'd suggest picking up a method of dealing unarmed strikes (which are weapons). A couple monk levels do this and get you evasion. Also, at least one level of Fist of the Forest (CChamp) will get you con to AC and an unarmed damage boost. Three levels will net you another unarmed boost.

First don't be such a grammer hammer. But to get to the issue you can just take the core barb. lvls. and you will be a great fighter and be able to take the form of big fuzzy bear that can rip your enemies faces off.

...Grammar hammer. Please. I just like being able to understand what people are typing. It also helps the poster to have good grammar and spelling. People will take you more seriously.

So please, for the sake of both poster and reader, use good grammar, and for the love of all things holy, punctuate!

Translation:

I was thinking about playing a Bear Warrior but I was too lazy to look up what it actually does (Polymorph (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/polymorph.htm)).

Does Barbarian/Bear Warrior compete with going straight Barbarian from a powergaming perspective? Should I take the plunge. worrying about possibly getting flak and "broken" comments for playing a characted that isn't even as strong as the core Barbarian I am probably going to play?

I thought it was called grammar nazi, not grammar hammer. You learn something new everyday.

Grammer isn't even a word, unless you count the city in Indiana.

Yeah, this one was actually possible....not like Female DM. The FANT lives on!

Well, I think this question has been answered, unless anyone else wants to chime in on the actual class.

Dare I ask what FANT is?
