Kaiberon 07-04-05, 09:13 PM	Seems like it is, we have a guy who's level 6 with a polar bear companion that seems totally untakable. I don't mind it because i like staying alive, but the GM may hit that point where he throws a few polar bears back.
Ozymandias V. 07-04-05, 10:57 PM	Polar bears are available to level 10 druids. Beastmasters count as a druid +3 when it comes to getting an animal companion. Since this guy is level six, he should only have one level of Beastmaster. That means he counts as a level 4 druid. He shouldn't have a polar bear for six more levels. ...unless his first five levels were druid. In which case he's still only counted as a level 9 druid for animal companions. He still shouldn't have a polar bear.
