I have a level 6 Duskblade in a campaign that will take us to level 9. As I see it now, taking all 9 levels in Duskblade won't net me much gain spellcasting-wise. Therefore, I want to beef up my melee fighting. What should I multiclass in? I am thinking some Fighter or Barbarian. Any prestige classes I should look at?

If it helps, I have my Duskblade setup for Two Weapon Fighting with Weapon Finesse (elven Duskblade, high DEX). Oh, and we are fighting a lot of undead.

Perhaps this thread would be more suited for the CharOp boards...

An interesting Prc for the Duskblade is the Green Star Adept from Complete Arcane. The skill reqs are easily met and you get Combat Casting for free from DB. However, acquiring a piece of starmetal may be a bit of a pain.

A 3 level dip would increase your caster level by 3 and spells/day by 1, get you DR 3/adamantine, +1 str/nat armor, a slam attack, +2 on saves against poison, sleep, paralysis, stunning, disease, death effects and necromancy effects, and 25% fortification.

It would help if you gave us more of your current feat selections (elven DB has 3 feats at 6th), sourcebooks allowed, any house rules, etc.

Either way...just my 2 cp

Ok, I recreated this thread in the Character Optimization board. Thanks for the help.
