I ave just generated a Beguiler character to play in a upcoming campaign to begin this sunday. I was wondering if there is any more information on beguilers other than the stats given in the payers handbook II. I plan on having alot of fun with this character as far as the role-playing goes, but I would like a bit more options fore them as far a feats and spells. Anyone out there have any ideas?

I once played one as an on the run ex-operative that had committed treason against his home city-state.

Check out the newly released Complete Scoundrel splat book. Should definitely help...

As I've seen said before in other threads (not expecting you to have read them, just pointing out this statement isn't originally mine), but you really won't be finding any direct spell additions to the beguiler's (or warmage's, or dread necro's) spell lists since it equates to a direct power increase for the class in questions because they know and have access to all of their spells from the get go.

As far as info and general options for the beguiler, I couldn't exactly give you any great advise for spells to pick through Advanced Learning, but for a great amount of options, I couldn't recommend Complete Scoundrel more. While none of the material in the book is explicitly spelled out just for the beguiler, the class does benefit from all the 'scoundrely' options from the book, both the skills and magic aspects. For specifics I would say that taking levels in both Magical Trickster and Uncanny Trickster would make an interesting if not rather fun character.

Hope that helps ya, even if a little bit.
