I could not find an answer to this on my own, so here goes:

My reading of the Beserker Strength alternative class feature seems to say that once you enter a state of Berserker Strength, you remain in that state indefinitely until your hit points rise above 5x barbarian level (or until the barbarian is unconscious or helpless). So, if there is not cleric or other source of healing, the barbarian would remain in a state of Berserker Strength all day.

Am I correct?

Also, I see nothing about entering a state of fatigue after exiting the state of Berserker Strength, so I suppose that this does not apply.

Am I correct?

The PHB2 says "while Berseker Strength is active, you have the same limitations on actions as a barbarian in rage (PH 25)." But, this does not seem to apply to fatigue (which does not hapen while Berseker Strength is in effect) or to duration of the state of Berserker Strength because duration is not an an action.

So, does a barbarian with the Beserker Strength alternative class feature, who has entered a state of Berserker Strength, simply remain in that state indefinitely until healed? All day, every day?

Yes, but remember since resting heals you: unless you never rests you won't stay forever.
