Best class & prestige class for a Drow [Archive] - Wizards Community

But uhh, I was thinking of something totally wicked a Drow would love to be and would be great at.

What are peoples ideas on the most fun/best class+prestige class for a drow?

~What you want a drow to do (Caster? Sneak? Melee master?)
~Whether you mean "fun to role-play" or "able to use Pun-Pun as tissue paper."

09-24-07, 04:32 AM Rogue, swashbuckler, assassin, dark hunter... That kind of thing. Drow are among the weaker LA +2s imo, but you might at least use those stat bonuses a little.

Had they a different favourite class, rogue/swashie with daring outlaw would imo be a great combo.

09-28-07, 04:31 PM Ranger with 2 scimitars and a couple levels in fighter and barbarian. No really it is a good build not a Drizzit thing.

09-28-07, 04:37 PM Oh yeah, because there are so many drow rangers with fighter and barbarian levels (ok, fighters with ranger and barbarian levels) who dual-wield scimitars. Riiight. Talisman is right though, it depends what you want to do. Beguiler, ranger, binder... Each of those, and many others, can work.
