Lycanthromancer 03-19-05, 01:00 PM	What is the best race/class combo for the 3.0 (or revised 3.5) Shifter class? I want to have a (primarily) non-caster character, since gaining levels in Shifter ignores caster levels. I thought about taking Druid levels, but since our DM's wife played a polysexual Druid named Kio (don't ask), he's disallowed the Druid class for the entire group. Horrible, ain't it?
Pax 03-19-05, 01:12 PM	Sans spellcasting? Unearthed Arcana's Wildshaping Ranger would seem to fit the bill. Alternately, with only a tiny amount of spellcasting, UA's Druid Avenger (a variant druid with Rage instead of an Animal companion) is also a good choice. Warshaper is always a good idea to branch out into, too. Bonus to strength and constitution, crit-immunity, extra reach, improved natural attacks, faster changing of forms ... it's all quite nice.
