I've got a player who wants to play a Fleshwarper as a combat spellcaster/support battery with the Necrotic Cyst series spells from LM (starting play at level 7 or 8). Can anyone give me a hand working out the best class/feat progression for him to do this?

-Note: The necrotic cyst spells are the flavour he wants. He's aiming for, in his own words, "A demented mutant freak called 'Cancerman'". Not my idea!

If he's got feats to spare, he'll go for abberant blood feats, again for flavour.

You need to have Summon Familiar as a class ability to get Fleshwarper, so that limits you quite a bit, wizard, sorcerer, hexblade, adept. Im not sure of any others off the top of my head. Of those, only the Adept has Heal as a class skill, and I think you need like ten ranks in Heal to get Graft Flesh as a prerequisite feat.

Once, a while back, a bad guy we faced had a cohort/minion/whatever that I later learned was an Adept/Ur-Priest/Fleshwarper. She was pretty nasty.

Ur-Priest? Never heard of that one. If he took a level of sorceror/wizard/adept and then moved onto cleric, I reckon it'd fit the flavour more. I'm thinking Wizard 1 or 2, then cleric the rest up to fleshwarper.

I dont remember the exact build since it was a badie and not a character of my own, but I know that those three classes were there. There may have been others.

I know that, dealing with her after defeating him with all of his useless-as-treasure grafted goodies, she was freakin' tough
