| thevanishedman03-26-08, 06:05 PM | So I'm trying to make a wizard whose feats correspond to specific events in the character's history. My goal is to make a sort of extremely specialized evoker... I was wondering what would be the best method of going about this. Up to 5th level, I can take straight wizard levels, giving me 4 feats if I'm human; 5 by 6th. After that, it's not too practical (a lot of nothing in terms of class abilities). In short, I was wondering what PrCs (or even base classes) I could take to get as many magic-related feats as possible. Thanks in advance. |

Wizard 4/Warmage 1/Ultimate Magus 6/Wild Mage 9 is ok. Double Practiced Spellcaster to make up for lost CL. But a Focused Conjurer does beat out an Evoker specialist. For versatility, take Spell Mastery and Uncanny Forethought (Exemplars of Evil) and be a semi-spontaneous Wizard, and leave all of your 9th level spells open. |

Taking specific feats like Arcane Thesis/Energy Substitution(Along with metamagic feats like searing spell) can be very potent for a specialized evoker. |
