First I want to give you the rules. I won't take combat casting until I'm actually taking cleric levels. While nothing prevents me from doing this, I personally make character choices in my feat selection. I would prefer to take Improved Natural Attack ASAP, which would be at level 6. Now looking over the Sacred Fist, a Monk4/Cleric 6 would give me balance between the two, 14 levels for monk damage, and 14th level for clerical spells. However personally I feel that I'm missing out on some of the fun extra things monks get for leveling. I'm thinking now of going monk8/Cleric2 which will give me 18th level monk unarmed damage, and be considered a 10th level cleric for spells. I plan on going with a 14,14,14,10,14,10 with a human. And when takign cleric taking Law and Strength for my domains. So from your experiences, what is the best mix of monk and cleric to get what I want and able to take SaF at 11th level at the latest. |
