What do you guys think who makes the best necro between Dread Necro and Cleric?

Dread can command more undead, but a cleric has alot more veristility.. Not sure what I wanna do, any reasoning behind your choices will help too

What about the Libris Mortis PrCs? The Pale Master and the True Necro both look like they have potential to me... Other than that I'd probably go with cleric, but I can't think of any cleric-only necromantic PrC with good casting at the moment. Master of Shrouds, maybe. If you can spare a level or three of wizard, the True Necro can be quite versatile, if somewhat lacking in power (you end up casting as a lvl 15 cleric and lvl 15 wizard, unless you use a feat to learn command undead with less wizard levels).

If you want to be the master of an undead army then dread necro is the way. Your charnal touch heals undead, you can control more undead than any other class, and your undead mastery makes stronger undead. With a few corpse crafter feats your minions become a pretty impressive army.
Now if you want to be a necro that dabbles in undead and focuses on other aspects, go with a cleric.
True necromancer is a 14 level PrC that requires levels in arcane and divine classes, IMO not worth it. Pale master I'm not sure if I like it or not.
