| Sinfire Titan03-17-08, 09:40 PM | Well, for published sources I'd say Dvati Rogue 4/Swashbuckler 16 with TWFing and Daring Outlaw (or just Swashbuckler 20 with Martial Stance [Assassin's Stance]) while wielding a pair of Short Swords and using Shadow Blade. Auto-Flanking Gatling Gun right then and there. Or just use Trickery Devotion if Dvati aren't allowed (which, really, they won't be) and get the same effect. Very feat-intense, but it works. If home brew is allowed, which I highly doubt, then use the Twin Blade (http://forums.gleemax.com/showpost.php?p=15247872&postcount=2). Even though they are missing a class feature, you can just use the Rogue version and call it finished. The class hasn't been tested yet, but looks ready to go at it. |

The best duel wielder would be the one that gets the most bonus damage on each attack. A 1st level human paragon can get Iaijutsu as a permanent class skill and add extra damage in the same round that you draw and strike a flat footed opponent. Combine this with pounce from one level of barbarian. One level of rogue. Another level in something that grants sneak attack at 1st (ninja will work) and finish the rest of with swashbucker and use the Daring Outlaw feat. Deadly Precision might be worth taking. Finish up with the Precise Strike from the Dragon Compendium to increase chance to hit for high AC targets. |
| Qube03-18-08, 03:48 AM | At least considder Dervish and Tempest.and ranger ... a ranger has the advantage he doens't dex to use two weapon fighting ... you can easely make a STR high DEX 13 CON high INT/WIS/CHA low ranger with full plate, animated shield and 2 weapons ... |

And TWfing sucks for a Ranger unless you are a Swift Hunter with Travel Devotion and maxed Tumble ranks. |
| serow_#R03-18-08, 11:08 AM | Daring Outlaw is nice. Penetrating Strike ACF would help :) |
| 1 ton ghost03-18-08, 01:30 PM | Thri-Kreen, preferably Tempest or Dervish. mo' arms the mo' betta'. |
| Jaxgaret03-18-08, 11:19 PM | A Wizard dual wielding magical staves, with the Somatic Weaponry feat. Or a Blastificer with Dual Wand Wielder and Reckless Wand Wielder etc., if that class/feat combo works as I think it might. :) |
