Best WildShaped Forms [Archive] - Wizards Community

Ive created a lvl 11 druid that likes shapeshifting, im looking for the best forms to turn into, can be up to 11HD and Tiny - Large. Plese list Name, Reason and sorce,

03-22-05, 12:45 PM At 11 HD I believe either brown bear/polar bear for strength/grappling or a dire lion for many attacks (pounce) and also reasonably high str. Both of these are straight out of the MM. Legendary Eagle for mobility/AC is also good since I believe they are 10 hit dice (I could be wrong about this though dont have my books here). This is from MM2 or Master's of the Wild I believe.
