| DarknessEternal11-19-06, 02:28 PM | Is there any mechanic that prevents a Binder from binding every Vestige availible by his level? |
| Milo HoBo11-19-06, 02:54 PM | I don't think that I understand the question. However, if you mean: Is there anything that prevents a binder from binding just the highest level vestiges instead of lower level vestiges, then not really. However, he might find that the best combinations involve lesser vestiges, but that isn't so much a mechanic as it is just a good idea. |
| DarknessEternal11-19-06, 07:43 PM | What I'm asking is: What prevents a Binder from binding every vestige available in the book at the same time? |
| scienceman4711-19-06, 08:13 PM | It states clearly in the book that you can only bind one. Check the level progression, you can bind more at a time later, but never more than 4. Until epic. At one point in time, I calculated the level needed to bind all 32 vestiges, and it came out to something like 120. |
| Edge_of_Oblivion11-19-06, 10:08 PM | That and the fact that some Vestiges won't Bind with one another (Amon and Chupoclops/Leraje/Karsus/Eurynome, Tenebrous and Primus, etc.) unless you burn a feat on Ignore Special Requirement. From level 1 through 7, you can bind 1 Vestige for 24 hours (or less if you have Expel Vestige). At level 8, you can bind 2 together. Later you get 3 (I think it's around level 14 or so) and at level 20 you can bind 4 at once. |
