| Sithobi103-23-05, 06:04 AM | If you are talking about FF, the Cleric is probably a red mage- he has all of the kinds of spells, and can fight in melee pretty well. White mage would have to be the Healer or AoP. Black mage-Probably Warmage, since he pretty much just has damage spells. |

| Plastic Sun03-23-05, 10:42 AM | Well, it not only depends on the particular Final Fantasy your playing, but it also depends on how close you really want to get to FF, but this is what I always thought -Red Mage: Modified Bard w/ attack spells instead of information gathering stuff... -White Mage: Cloistered Cleric from Unearthed Arcana -Black Mage: Either War Mage...or an Evoker... -Blue Mage: There is an awesome Base class on these boards for that -Summoner: A Conjurer...or a cleric, I dont know, maybe a sorcere that selects all buff spells and summoning monster spells? -Time Mage: Uh, wow...this one's hard...perhaps a sorcere with a carefully selected spell list to reflect time manipulation, or a conversion of the old Chronomancer -Chemist: Either the Artificer from the Ebberon Book, or an updated version of the old Alchemist from 1st... -Calculator:...christ..I dunno on this one... -Geomancer: I'd say a modified Druid that sacrifices Wild Shape for increased spell capacity and more stuff...and ability to fight better... |
