Hey guys, I've got a question about the Blackguard's laying of hands .. in the description it says its his charisma modifier x his level.. but does this mean blackguard level? I'm running a campaign and one of my PC's has a 11 level blackguard/4 level paladin/6 level fighter.. I don't see how the fighter and paladin levels would come into a blackguards laying of hands, but the DM guide is sort of vague in its description of the ability. Does anyone know for sure or have a good idea of how this ability truly works? I'm thinking only blackguard level like the smite good ability, but I don't want to underpower the PC.. nor do i want to overpower him and make him dominant over the group. Anyone have any ideas?

if it say's cha X your level then it's your total level
if it say's cha X Blvkgaurd levels then it's just backguard

Also... being a 4th level fallen paladin grants other benefits with your blackguard.

Yeah, but normally if an ability uses all levels then it says x character level or x hit die .. and in the description of the ability it refers to him as "The Blackguard" .. anyone have their 3.5 DM guide handy to give us the exact description? (i don't have mine with me)

This is wrong. If it says Cha X your level, it means the class that the ability is a part of. This is standard. If it meant total character level, it would say total character level.

All references to "level" default to Caster Level or Class level.

If "Level" means anything else, it will reference either Character Level of Hit Dice.

What in the world? I didn't write "dis" or "Mr. T" or "pities"
