Blackguard Prereqs [Archive] - Wizards Community

I am to play a fighter in an upcoming game. I want him to go into the Blackguard class. One of the prerequisites for the class is peaceful contact with an evil outsider. Can this be accomplished by the wizard of the party simply casting an appropriate Summon Monster spell?

You can talk with it or whatever you want, then have it dismissed. Bingo, you're in.

Thanks.Keep in mind all it will require is Summon Monster I or II. The thing is that it's rediculously easy, and most DMs overlook it because of this. Still, it's a fun RP hook.

Of course, ask any evil cleric to cast it in your place.

You could be a jerk and make him actually touch the evil summoned outsider-- give him a big hug, or even a nice little foot massage.
