| Warforged Goblin06-12-07, 12:05 PM | Hiya. I'm running a 3.5 Eberron campaign and one of my players wants to try and play a "Blade Bard" from 2nd Ed. Now, I have no problem with this (I encourage the nonstandard). Now, here's where the problems come up; I've never played 2nd edition before and he's rusty when it comes to 3.0 and up. Does anyone have any ideas on how to port this bard "packet" (I think he called it) over to current edition rules? |

The knife twrowing ability should be gained with rapid shot, point blank shot etc. finally the character should grab the snowflake wardance and the bardic music feat to induce moral penalties (Can't remember the name) If you ask me the best way to replicate the blade kit would be: Bard6/Fighter4/Dervish 10 with the following essential feats: -TwF -Improved TwF -Snow Flake wardance -White Raven song -Point blank shot -rapid shot Have fun, with the old nostalagia... |
