Bleach: Kurosaki Ichigo's Class? [Archive] - Wizards Community

06-21-07, 11:23 PM not sure if this belongs here, but was ever so curious to which class, PrC, Gesalt, Ichigo might be from bleach.

Level progression from episode one, to current episode 130 ( or 126 from which he was last seen).

Im not too keen on how to map something like that out, but a base for what i think he may be is a WB (ToB) focusing on the stone dragon, DM, and IH schools (stone dragon for his heavy hitting, DM for when he has his moments of resolve, and IH for his overall mastery with a sword). im not sure on if he has another class in there, as he is inept at sensing rietsu, or casting hiediku, or other spirit attacks. maybe PrC him into a altered eternal blade, with his blade guide bieng his sword instead of a lost ansestor (sp?)?

im looking forward to some of the ideas brought forward.

06-22-07, 01:41 AM unfortunately, I've only seen upto 90, but... well, screw that, way too hard, make your own PrC...

On a more serious level... prob'ly what sphere suggested... though I would prefer to deal with Bleach through D20M rules...

06-22-07, 03:32 AM I have only seen a little of Bleach, but what I have seen tilts me towards some combination of Soulknife and Warblade.

Later on: Shinigami template would make some sense. Boosting up his physical stats and probably giving him his weapon.

Class Levels: Warblade and maybe Kensai (or some other class that can pump up the weapon). In the alternative, have the blade increase in power based off the template but I wouldn't have a clue what the LA would be for the template.

06-22-07, 08:53 PM the template would have to include, leap of the heavens as a bonus feat, give him +30 to jump, speed up by about 50 (not including shunpo, or Bankai), demension door (for shunpos effect), boost to stats, boost to balance, tumble and a huge dex and str mod...idk, was just seeing what you all though he would be.

06-22-07, 09:11 PM I was thinking something along the lines of the Soulknife only where the blade actually comes from their soul. Then when you manifest the blade upon the first level of the shinigomi, you choose 2 different personality styles that will determine your fighting style and powers gained, each of course having their own level progressions. The 2 styles chosen will determine how the hilt functions and the shape of the blade itself. These are sketchy at best I know but my imagination has come up with more than I know how to put on here =P.

06-22-07, 10:19 PM You would need to use some divine abilites to get him just right. Hes also going to have two seperate set of stats, one for human form, and one transformed. Human wise I go with the Thug Fighter varient from UA.
Shinigami probably needs to be gestalt. Warblade/Feat Rouge, taking Martial Stance feat for Balance on the Sky. Divine Abilities: Battle Sense, Divine Blast (from Zangestu only), Divine Dodge, Divine Rouge, Free Move, Divine Weapon Focus/Spec (Zangetsu), Irresistable Blows (Zangetsu), Stride, Supreme Initiative. Now hes have to be atleast DR 7 to get all these by the rules.
Feat wise the Weapon Focus tree with Slashing Fury. Also hed need Powerful Build, because he is EXTREMLY strong as a shinigami.

I'd go Warblade, dunno which maneuvers, with the Item Familiar (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/variant/magic/itemFamiliars.htm) feat, which basically lets your chosen weapon grow as an intelligent item. That'd give you the flash steps with maybe desert wind, a hefty group of "zanpakuto" abilities or Kido spells, and the feat would net you a growing Zanpakuto with an inner spirit, effectively. Plus the intelligent item abilities, it's pretty much exactly a Zanpakuto. Pump in Con and Str scores, and a few items.

There ya go, Ichi! Alternatively you could go Soulblade / Psychic Warrior, for essentially the same thing with less BaB.

it's not perfect but you can pick and choose the stuff that you want.. i created it to reflect my campaign more so than bleach because all of the really strong characters in the anime are epic level

06-24-07, 11:14 AM Wilder with Hidden Talent (Call Weaponry). His powers include stygian discernment, so he can sense ghosts, and inertial armor with the visual set to "black robes."

Those gloves Rukya uses early-on to knock Ichigo into the ethereal plane are the Bands Of Ethereal Abduction from Complete Psionic. In the CP they're more like brass knuckles, but it's close enough.

The Soulbound Warrior (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/psm/20070214a) variant of the Psychic Warrior class also works well, but probably knows too many feats and powers to represent Ichigo. It would work better for the Soul Society guys. With them as Soulbound Warriors and Ichigo as a Wilder, Ichigo would indeed seem to have an unheard of amount of psychic energy (and the ability to increase his output, at risk of hurting himself).
