Neochronic 04-28-06, 05:11 PM	Area spells only, and when he starts casting the rest of the party better RUN to make sure they're not in the area. Blind is very detrimental in D&D, and there's not much a spellcaster can do when they're blind.
Shedeo 04-28-06, 05:17 PM	There's an old Warcraft d20 book called "Alliance and Horde Compendium." In there, there is a PrC for blind casters that grants them +1 spell level every other level and give them blindsense 15' every level.

FaultyClockwork 04-29-06, 01:07 AM	Isn't there some magic item, like a cloth or blindfold that grants blindsight or something? I think if the Wizard used personally crafted magic items or self buff magic to improve his senses during combat it would add a cool level of flavor to him.
