Hello, all I'm new to the forums and would like to start off by saying I enjoy D&D alot and currently creating class idea's which I see as more fun to play then openly powerful, or balanced/underbalanced but I do not like to make tremendously overpowered classes so i'm looking for some criticism.

anyways here it is

Blind-Sight
A Blind-Sight is a person born from a divine intimacy. Blind-Sight’s have godlike blood within their veins, although the characteristics of the person are that of a mortal, they still retain godlike mentality, which some can harness into true and solid powers.

Making a Blind-Sight
Abilities: Intelligence controls all of the Blind-Sight’s special powers, including her spell casting. Wisdom is important for her because of its role in developing her skills. Dexterity and Constitution both contribute to the Blind-Sight’s ability to survive.
Races: Human, Elf, Gnome, Orc, Troll, Goblin, Dwarf.
Alignment: Any lawful.
Starting Gold: 6d4x10 gp (150 gp).
Starting Age: As Race.

Class Skills:
The Blind-Sight’s class skills (and the key ability for each skill) are Bluff (Cha), Concentration (Con), Diplomacy (Cha), Intimidate (Cha), Jump (Str), Knowledge (arcana) (Int), Knowledge (planes) (Int), Sense Motive (Wis), and Spellcraft (Int). See Player's Handbook, Chapter 4: Skills for skill descriptions.
Hit Die: d8.

Class Features
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: A Blind-Sight is proficient with all simple and martial weapons, as well as fighting with fists, with light and medium armor.

Special Abilities & Spell-like Abilities:
Blink Movement: This ability works like the spell blink, except that it’s the main focus of the Blind-sights ability, for the Blind-Sight this movement uses a level 0 spell and allows him to move up to 80 feet in any direction, this effect also causes the Blind-Sight to become ethereal for the blink of a second he is gone and appears at his destination.

Blink Striking: This ability is the Blind-Sights ability to strike enemies, he can use this at will, and is his form of fighting, a maximum of his blink movement range (80 ft) he can attack a certain many targets before he ends his blink movement. The Blind-Sight only gets 1 attack, but his Blink Strike (1) where the bracketed number indicates how many extra people he can hit, is how many attacks he can obtain and how many targets he can harm per round. The Blink strikes consume a 1st level spell per extra person it harms, a 2nd level spell for 2 extra people, and a 3rd level spell for 3 extra people (maximum of 4 targets) Example; If we have a level 1 Blind-Sight, who is 15 feet away from his target, and another enemy is 30 feet away from the targeted creature, the blind sight can attack both targets and end his Blink Movement 35 feet away from the 2nd target.

Enhanced Blink: This ability increases the effect of the Blind-Sight’s blinking range by 5 ft and 10 ft.

Focused Blink: This ability allows the Blind-Sight to a level 3 spell and forfeit all his extra targets in a Blink Strike, to hit 1 target and do double the damage including elemental damage from the weapon.

Improved Blink Movement: Level 0 spells are now useless, because the Blind-sight no longer requires the use a spell, to cast his blink ability.

Improved Blink Striking: This is an improvement of the Blink Strike, the only effect it has is that the Blind-Sight has become so good with his Blink Strike technique that it now requires 1 level lower spell per extra person, giving the Blind-Sight the ability to hit 1 extra target.

Magic Bearer: This ability his how the Int of the character develops his ability to blink more times in a day, take the Blind-Sight’s (Spells per day +Int modifier x it by the Magic Bearer ability = the number of spells per day of every level.)

Captured Wisdom: This ability is what gives the Blind-Sight his fighting skill using weapons or his fists, every 1 modifier in Wisdom allows the Blind-Sight to either use a +1 weapon, or get +1 to hit & damage with his fists, (maximum 5).

Blind Sight?
I was thinking it was going to be a Blind Seer type of character.
Like an Oracle, that cant see.

Anywho, I think the descriptions could be cleaned up a little.

And I thought it would be a Blind-Fighting Monk-type character. But apparently it refers to it's blinding speed? As far as I can tell it pseudo-teleports around hitting things. But I can't understand it enough to give a critique... :(

Umm to clear it up a tiny bit i guess, I was aiming for an AoE style of melee fighter, something that could single hit things in an area, it relies on it's spells to do that so sorta limiting itself i guess, umm yes i do agree after reading it a bit that i could clean up the wording.

It would be I guess a sorta spell casting rogue if you will, blinks around giving single shots to enemys and getting in and out, the focus is INT and WIS so it's damage is sacrificed from lack of strength so I thought it was pretty balanced myself.

Sorry to get your hopes up on the name, and yes Blind-Sight is meant to describe it's blinding fast speed, but my next class i plan to post is a Blind Archer.

Clean things up a bit, and I'm sure you'll get more feedback.

I'm not sure how far it can move in any given round, but the way its written now, its a bit high in the power curve. I like the concept though.
