| SilverFoxKnows12-12-07, 07:38 PM | One of our players took a silver dragon bloodline for flavor but it hasn't helped her too much in game. I think some are better than others, I guess it depends on what you want to do with your character. As DM, in a different game, I'm working on a group of bad guys with a bloodline... . . . DIRE HAMSTER DON'T READ . . . . . . . . . . Kobolds with a Dread Linnorm (modified dragon) bloodline. Game starts this Sunday, we'll see how it pans out. |

I have found that creating a sort of set of heritor feats (like the abyssal heritor feats or the draconic ones from the races of dragon) works better to explore this kind of heritage. |
| LoneFlame12-13-07, 10:27 AM | Bloodlines work pretty decently with Martial Adepts & other combat classes(such as Fighter), but kinda suck for casters & psions, who need the spells per day or power points. |

The loss of levels is not worth the benefits gained. You're better off making it a template of sorts with the abilities coming in at the appropriate level and add a +1 LA for the major or intermediate lines and make it a feat for the minor line and perhaps intermediate lines. |
