I've always liked the idea of racial paragons; an exemplar of your species, honing your natural abilities beyond the norm. And, ever since MM4 came out, I've always had a soft spot for the bloodsilk spider. So, I combined the two into what you see here: the bloodsilk spider paragon class.

Bloodsilk Spider Paragon
Sometimes a bloodsilk spider can survive for decades, growing more cunning and adept at hunting that its lesser kin. These rarer, deadlier bloodsilk spiders often have levels in the bloodsilk spider paragon class. By advancing in this class, a bloodsilk spider hones its natural abilities, improving its stealth and cunning, the strength of its webs, and its ability to store drained blood.

Game Rule Information
Bloodsilk spider paragons have the following game statistics.
Abilities: Bloodsilk spider paragons prefer ambush and sneak attacks, making Dexterity a high priority. Most other abilities are irrelevant, although Constitution is important for hit points and determining the strength of a bloodsilk spider paragon’s blood web.
Alignment: Any.
Hit Die: d10.
Special: A normal bloodsilk spider may take levels in the bloodsilk spider paragon class even though it does not have the prerequisite Intelligence score of 3.

Class Skills
The bloodsilk spider paragon’s class skills (and the key ability for each skill) are Climb (Str), Hide (Dex), Listen (Wis), Move Silently (Dex), and Spot (Wis).
Skill Points at Each Level: 2 + Int modifier.

Class Features
All of the following are class features of the bloodsilk spider paragon class.

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Bloodsilk spider paragons gain no proficiency with any weapons or armor.

Prolonged Blood Drain (Su): Bonus hit points that a bloodsilk spider paragon gains through use of its blood drain ability last for a number of days equal to its bloodsilk spider paragon level.

Deadly Blood Drain (Su): Beginning at 2nd level, a bloodsilk spider paragon’s web deals 1d6 points of damage at the beginning of each round to an opponent entangled in them. The web can also affect plant creatures, although the bloodsilk spider paragon does not gain temporary hit points from such creatures.

Blood Web Stealth (Ex): Beginning at 2nd level, a bloodsilk spider paragon’s racial bonus on Hide checks and Move Silently checks while in its web increase to +12 each.

Ability Boost (Ex): At 3rd level, a bloodsilk spider paragon’s Dexterity score increases by 2.
