I heard there was a rather masterfully done blue mage on this forum a while ago.

Something about the description taking 30 pages or something...

If anyone recognizes this desription and could give me a link it would be much appreciated.

I just hope its a blue mage in the sense that it learns things off of monsters. That's what I'm really looking for.

I've been searching for something like that for ages.

Wow... I didn't know there was a 20 level progression Blue Mage... I made a Prestige Class of the same name a little while ago, and placed it in the Prestige Class section....

Although i always liked that blue mage, with incarnum released i think that a new fluffier and perhapse more balanced version could be made based on incarnum. Say able to attach "spell moulds" to body parts. When you get hit by a spell the mold takes "the shape of the spell" alowing you to cast spell from said mold. I have all the details somwhere or another.

That is a decent blue mage but are there any other variants?

I'd like to see my options. Especially if there's one that has a sleightly more FF feel to it. (The blue mage that is on that page specifically stays as far from the FF one as possible.)

I definitely don't want an incarnum one. Not until I've gotten a better chance to look at those rules. I have no way of telling exactly how balanced they are until I've seen them in detail myself, especially with the mixed reviews I've heard.

Thank you for your posts :D ,

This is a PrC, but it's a FF style Blue Mage class I made a while back.
