| borg28607-10-07, 10:14 PM | which book is this in? |
| RadicalTaoist07-10-07, 11:07 PM | The Factotum, from Dungeonscape. It appears to be 'in addition to' from where I'm standing. |
| Sszvein07-11-07, 12:08 AM | If it is, then it's an amazing class feature. |
| Genetic07-11-07, 01:03 AM | Amazing indeed. It's in addition to. |
| posternutbag07-11-07, 01:56 AM | My reading of the ability also would be "In addition to." I palyed a Factotum for a while in an Eberron game and found it (the class as a whole) quite powerful. I think that the ability to influence dice rolls is an undervalued ability, and Inspiration Points and Action Points work well together (although the synergy of the two was constantly in question.) |
| Sszvein07-11-07, 02:09 PM | About that, there seems to be quite too few of those inspiration points. Is there any way to have more? |
| Genetic07-11-07, 02:25 PM | I think there was a feat on the site somewhere that gave you more inspiration points. Try a search for it. Besides that, there's nothing though in terms of feats. |
| posternutbag07-11-07, 02:59 PM | I don't know of a feat like that, but imagine one exists. I found that, at least in low levels, while it would obviously be nice to have more, I was quite capable with those that I had during combat. |
