Swordsage is a very versatile class already, i would not advise screwing with the abilities, but thats your problem.

If you want savage, definately master the tiger claw discipline.

Go with things like spiked gauntlets, unarmed strikes, daggers, short swords, hand-axes, picks, and other stuff availiable to a savage society. Two-weapon to emulate the clawed predators of the wild lands.

Chose skills like survival, listen, spot, know (nature), plus discipline skills.

2 levels of bloodclaw master eliminates TWF penalties for Tiger claw weapons, and improved+superior unarmed strike will allow you plenty of damage potential (especially if you can convince your dm to allow it to scale with level)

If you're going to be using unarmed damage, don't forget about the Snap Kick feat from the book. If allows you to take a -2 to attack rolls in order to add a free unarmed attack in addition to your other attacks, even when using single attacks like maneuvers! You only add half your Strength modifier to damage in on the unarmed attack, but otherwise it's quite nice.

Meh, call me a weirdo but I like the kukri. With imp. critical/keen and blood on the water, you will soon be slicin' and dicin' like there's no tomorrow ;). I really liked the picture of the half-orc that was steaming and looking around with the kindness and compassion of a ravenous animal, I can tell you that. Anyway, iirc some gauntlets allow you to do your unarmed damage with them, which calls for superior unarmed strike if you want to do it that way. However, the kukri are nice and curved enough to emulate a wild animal without a problem :)

BTW, if you want, you can do the same thing with scimitars afaik (if you take the desert wind weapons for WF): they have the same threat range, and slightly bigger damage. Works best with dervish or oversized TWF though.

OTOH... has anyone tried how Blood in the Water and Thousand cuts work? It feels like a potentially very powerful combo imo.
