Any ideas for this type of build?

Does karmic strike work better with TWF and the double hit feat as opposed to 2HF?

I was thinking of duel wielding scimitars or duel wielding warhammers as a dwarf with the battlesmith prestige class.

what is double strike.

karmic strike would work with twf but you only get one aoO unless you take combat reflexes and have a high dex and are attacked alot. and combat expertise is kinda bad with twf. they actually have to hit you for this to be effective. how many time are opponents going to miss versus the number of attacks you have but not even on the amount of dex you possess. you may have 7 attacks a round but if you dont have a +7 dex you cant use karmic strike to its fullest.

2hf is my overall favorite. you get more damage normally and with power attack. your bonus to hit is better and with crushing strike you basically never miss. monkey grip, power attack, melee mastery, crushing strike, ex prof goliath warhammer(large 3d6). personally i like half giants. they got powerful build so you dont take a -2 penalty for wielding a large weapon and dont need monkey grip.

robilars gambit is a good feat similar to karmic strike but you cant take it till later. they get +4 to hit, and damage against you. but hit or miss you get an aoO. you only need 1 feat youre gonna use for it not 2 worthless ones.

Double hit lets you attack with both weapons when you get an AoO.

What is crushing strike?

There is a TWF Karmic strike build in my sig (the Dwarven Answerer). It would be better with Robilar's Gambit, I think, however.

If you're going for a Karmic Strike and/or Robilar's Gambit build, remember that you're going to need a lot of feats to make it work. Unless you plan on taking quite a few levels in Fighter, you probably won't have enough feats to use TWF with it; that is, unless you go Ranger.

Yeah i was thinking of being a fighter/dervish to get all the extra feats. I wonder if a dervish dance combined with karmic strike and double hit would be a nice combo.

Your fighting in a crowded area and moving 5 feet between each attack and TWF. You don't tumble so as to provoke AoO's from every foe you move past and every time they hit you...you hit back with both weapons from double hit. So you could get 3 hits per foe as you move through the combat field while doing your dervish dance.

crushing srtike is with a blugeoning weapon each time you hit your opponent you lower there ac by a cumulative 1 that round. so each hit after the first increases you attack by 1 2 3 4. attack bonus (hasted) 20 21 17 13 9 that succession is way better that 20 20 15 10 5 not to mention the twf (expertise -4) 14 14 14 9 9 4 4 -1. this is your base attack bonus with nothing but crushing strike, normal, twf+expertise respectively. and hasted

double hit would make it a little better but i still perfer the 2hf. thats just my preference. it sounds like youve got a good build going on. but the main issuse is the expertise offsetting the karmic strike. youre trading 4 attack bonus for 4 ac while twf. trying to get rid of the -4 ac from karmic strike is good. but not at the cost of -6 on attacks.

So you could get 3 hits per foe as you move through the combat field while doing your dervish dance.I took a slightly different approach. The build I made has Sweeping Strike from Warmind. So everytime someone hits him, he gets to hit them, AND the guy standing next to them, twice. :D

now with the dervish i would agree completely. i would take melee mastery and slashing flurry while hasted i think it was something like 18 attacks a round with a thousand cuts.

Would an AoO trigger karmic strike. attacking is a starndard action. AoO is a free attack. i would look at it like real life. 6 seconds, you attack someone and run off they hit you on the way youre not even facing them now to get another attack, however, you could train yourself to do this. i would say DM's discretion.

I wasn't planning on using combat expertise. I want foes to hit me so i can use karmic strike with double hit. I will also take deft opportunist that gives you +4 to your AoOs. I was thinking of playing a wood elf for the +2 to Str and Dex.

If i was going to use robilar's gambit then combat expertise would be good with the deft opportunist feat (+4 to AoOs.)

My end game is to have two prismatic burst scimitars with improved crit. With those prismatic bursts going off quite often then you would be like a firecracker.

whats a high elf. does the wood elf get +2 str dex -2 int con.

i like the fighter scout dervish combo. once youve moved 10 feet you get the skirmish bonus.

Elf (Con penalty) + Karmic Strike (gets hit alot) sounds like a really bad idea to me...
