Heres a bit of a challenge and I imagine it can be done many different ways.
I wanted to build a Thug character. It has to be a 28 point build and using only the 3.5 PHB for feats and skills and classes. I envisioned that he would be a fighter/rogue and his stats would probably be: S:16 D:14 C:14 I:12 W:10 CH:8.
I think the feats are what I struggle with most. I can see MANY combos. Dodge, Mobility, Improved Unarmed Strike, Improved Grapple, Toughness, Power Attack, etc.
I am looking for ideas that would fit a Thug born to the streets.
Can't wait for the reponse!

Skill focus(Intimidate) should be a high probablity. Its a thug, he's good at it.

STR:16
DEX:14
CON:14
INT:12
WIS:10
CHA:8

These are you stats? OK then your feats could be:

Stealthy- Helps for Hide and Move Silent

Improved Initiative- This ones obvious

Persuasive- Helps for intimidate

Skill Focus (Intimidate)- Need I say more?

Hope these help, if anything I could design a Thug class for you, if so just say the word. :)

Yes Intimidate is a terribly important skill and a feat or 2 should be used for it. I was wondering if Improved Unarmed Strike and Improved Grapple would be helpful. I have seen grappling used as an effective weapon several times and adding a +4 is tremendous. Are these feats a waste unless your a monk?
