Building Kratos [Archive] - Wizards Community

03-19-08, 01:19 PM I'm positive this has been done before, and if anyone can link an older thread, it would be appreciated. But I would like your opinions on Kratos from the God of War franchise.

Clearly, the Ghost of Sparta is a combat powerhouse with superhuman strength, but his primary weapons are a pair of daggers (maybe shortswords) shackled to his wrists via chains. His combat style focuses on whipping the blades out and around himself, destroying enemies as he does so.

Clearly, due to game mechanics, he is a difficult character to model. But I'm curious as to what you all think.

03-19-08, 01:45 PM He's a warblade with either EWP: Kusari-Gama (DMG) or, much more likely, the artifact version of the Anarch Blades (Dragon magazine, explicitly a statting of his blades of chaos). Focus on Tiger Claw and Iron Heart, with a touch of Stone Dragon.

There's nothing he does (except his magic) that's beyond what this combination can do, although he may need to be high-level (justifiable, he's freakin' Kratos). Yes, it's that simple.
