mvincent 01-26-07, 03:51 PM	The Horizon Walker (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/prestigeClasses/horizonWalker.htm) can have "the spell-like ability to use dimension door (as the spell cast at your character level) once every 1d4 rounds". Dimension Door (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/dimensionDoor.htm) normally allows you to take others with you (assuming your caster level is high enough), so I'd like to know: Can a Horizon Walker's Dimension Door ability be used with others? This possibly doesn't seem like what the writer's were intending, but it seems that this is allowed. Other examples of spell-like abilities will specify if they deviate from the standard spell (like Demon's and Devil's with the teleportation ability not being able to bring passengers). The Horizon Walker's Dimension Door ability does not have such a disclaimer.

Mitchell 01-26-07, 11:58 PM	Since it doesn't say that they can't, then they can, at least by RAW. I haven't noticed any eratta on it. If you are the DM and feel that this is inappropriate, then you can always limit it. I would just recommend that you inform any prospective HWs of this change ahead of time. Edit: Which is pretty much what is said on the thread MVincent posted. :cool:
