JulesCARV 03-06-07, 05:03 PM	I'm just wondering: there are various ways of getting charisma to saves for almost all alignments (Paladins' divine grace, blackguards' dark blessing, Unearthed Arcana paladin variants, hexblades' arcane resistance, holy liberators, etc). My question is: is there a way for a neutral good character to get charisma to saves? That's the only alignment that doesn't seem to be able to do it.

Tattooed Monk is included here because Bellflower applies your Charisma modifier to any one ability score, including Constitution/Dexterity/Wisdom, and thus can boost the relevant save. The_Shaman 03-06-07, 07:05 PM	Let's see... OA shaman will give you that if you can wait several levels. Also, afaik the Dragon magazine "alignment warriors" - aka paladins for every alignment - can do it, but it takes a bit longer. I think the OA witch hunters were also able to pull off something similar.

And the Crusader, and the Athar Defiant, and the Eldeen Ranger, and the Exemplar, and the Holy Liberator, and the Justicar of Tyr, and the Knight of the Sacred Seal, and the Marshal, and the Martyred Champion, and the Platinum Knight, and the Tattooed Monk. Those are all 3.5. Also, the Ruin Delver's Fortune spell was reprinted in the Spell Compendium. I haven't checked all of those to see if they can work with NG alignment, but if I recall correctly, all but the Holy Liberator, the Platinum Knight, the Tattooed Monk, and MAYBE the Justicar of Tyr can be taken by NG characters.
JulesCARV 03-06-07, 08:08 PM	Well, if the page is accurate, the crusader only gets charisma to will saves. The defiant only gets it vs. divine spells, when arcane spells and neither-arcane-nor-divine SLA are more common. The Eldeen Ranger must be chaotic if he's going to be a Greensinger. The Exemplar gets charisma to fortitude saves only. The holy liberator is CG only. The Justicar of Tyr is LG only. Knight of the Sacred Seal is reflex. A marshall's minor aura can only add to one save at a time. Martyred Champion of Ilmater is LG only. Platinum knight is against evil dragons only. Tattooed monk is lawful only. However, the Corrupt Avenger can by NG, and does seem to get charisma to saves eventually. That's good. Thank you, Tempest.
HxHunter 03-06-07, 09:17 PM	I think the Master of the Yuriwood is able, though a little late. Requirements: Elf or half-elf; any nonevil; Knowledge (nature) 5 ranks, Survival 10 ranks; Alertness, Track; home region Aglarond or star elf, or Knowledge (local (Aglarond or star elf)) 2 ranks
ContinuityLapse 03-07-07, 01:27 AM	There's a neutral good Paladin variant called the Sentinel in Dragon #310. It gets Divine Grace.
