Can a Vampire Cleric select from the domains in Libris Mortis? [Archive] - Wizards Community

In terms of theme it would seem reasonable that a vampire cleric could select from these undead based domains, but the Monster Manual gives a limited list of options for a vampire cleric.

The Libris Mortis came out after the Monster Manual but the Monster Manual says nothing about additional domain options for vampires to follow, and the Libris Mortis says nothing about overriding any rules in the Monster Manual so RULES AS WRITTEN would indicate that a vampire cleric can not take these domains.

Does anyone know which prevails in this scenario, should I allow the vampire cleric to take any of the domains in the Libris Mortis or not?
