Just like in the topic. I see nothing in the description of spontaneous casting except "Only spells with cure in the name". Since that fits the mass versions too, I was wondering.

I think you answered your own question. Any spell with "Cure" in the name may be cast spontaneously.

Yes. It's one of the advantages of 3.5. In 3.0, the Circle of Healing series of spells did not qualify for spontaneous casting, but the Mass Cure spells, belonging, as they do, to the Cure series, can be spontaneously cast by +ve E. channeling clerics.

No. Heal, Regenerate, and Mass Heal are not Cure - spells and Clerics can only cast Cure - or Inflict - spells spontaneously (depending on the polarity of energy they can channel).

That, of course, depends on your DM. I have one that allows me to spontaneously cast Heal. Which was cool!. But, normally, you can't do that.

Greyman, the topic isn't about Mass Heal. It's about Mass Cure Light Wounds, Mass Cure Critical Wounds, etc. Those can indeed be cast spontaneously by a cleric who channels positive energy.

Yes you can convert to Mass versions of Cure.

It's amusing to include Undead as one of your healing targets.
Cure your allies while hurting the undead. Note that the Cure Light version goes up to 1d8 +25

Apologies. I interpretted your post as you mistaking Mass Cure Light Wounds (and the rest) for Mass Heal. My bad.

am i mistaken, or there are no 9th level spells with the word "cure"?

is it possible to spontaneously cast a "metamagicked" cure spell?

like "maximized cure critical wounds"...

I think there are some texts that clarify that point and say yes, but you take the full round casting time to do so (as with Sorcs).

Otherwise you can just use a metamagic wand.

The Highest Cure spells is Cure Critical Wounds (Mass) at 8th.
