Alexanderdumas1969 01-12-07, 02:49 AM	Hello all, I am currently creating several PCs and cant seem to remember where the material is at for creating characters was LAs. I am not 100% how it functions and would like to do it correctly the first time around. Like for example: Half-Fiend Human Fighter Lv1 Half-Fiend Template +4 LA The character would be a CL5 correct. Now would this character be able to make it to Epic level if he attained the required xp for it. If using the info above the Character once reaching epic level would be CL20 or would it be CL24 since it has the +4 LA. And as the Half-Fiend gains LVs would he/she gain the Spell-like abilities at Every 2 Lvs as shown in MM. One last thing could someone tell me were i cold find the LICH or Vampire Templates or are the ones in the MM 3.5 Correct and need no modification. Thanks in Advance for the help figuring this out.
Sphyre 01-12-07, 03:19 AM	Effective Character Level = Monsterous Hitdice + Level Adjustment + Class Levels (In short HD+LA since each level grants a hitdie) As for what point a Player character goes epic, I'll leave that question for someone who actually plays epic to answer that one, as I've noticed many conflicting veiws on the board - and I think what I thought was wrong. I do recall someone saying that the information is in the DMG though.
