... to some good nonmagical varient classes? I can't find a search function.I'm working on a homebrew where i'm messing around with magic a lot, and I'm going to reduce the amount of magic-users. I know where to find a decent ranger-varient, but I'm looking at a paladin, perhaps a druid (depends how I end up breaking down the magic). Bard I have plans for, and our arcane duo are fine as is, and I'm messing with the cleric. Also perhaps an arcane cleric to serve the purpose of clergy? that or a nonmagical one...

Click on the basic classes PDF and go to pg 57 for a paladin and pg 67 for a ranger or pick up the Complete Warrior.

thanks!

can anyone suggest a replacement for Turn/Rebuke Undead as a class feature? I'm making a homebrew based on the Abhorson series by Garth Nix, and in his world only necromancers and the Abhorson can deal with undead, so I need something to replace for clerics/paladins so they don't get gimped

EDIT: ok, I see in the above link several varients, now I just need help picking one if you know the series

P. 58 of Unearthed arcana actually shows a good Cleric variant that you can use in place of the normal cleric. This would be what you're looking for in your Abhorson Homebrew CS.

Edit: Also the Paladin changes are listed on the same page.
