Can a warlock qualify to take this class if they have the right spell like abilities?
bobothechimp 06-06-07, 07:46 PM	I am almost certain they can. Depends on the exact description of the warlock abilities, I'm not at my books right now.

No, Warlocks do not cast arcane spells and you need to be able to cast spider climb, summon swarm, or web as arcane spells.
IRememberCecil 06-06-07, 11:17 PM	If I remember correctly (I lent my copy), Complete Arcane specifically states that if an Invocation duplicates a spell effect, then the Warlock meets the requirement of being able to cast that particular spell. I'd rule yes. Just out of curiosity, though, does a Warlock gain anything special from the PrC?
kalyb 06-06-07, 11:56 PM	Under the section "Specific Spell requirements" in the CA (pg 72), it specifically states that "...invocations and spell-like abilities that generate the relevant effect meet the requirement for specific spell knowledge."
